Robert Denny is a native of Shelbyville, Tennessee, and was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 2010. He received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University (B.A., Political Science, 2006) and earned his Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University's Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2010. During his time at LSU Law, Robert was appointed to the Trial Advocacy Board and Ethics Board. Robert also competed on behalf of the LSU Law Center in the American Association for Justice Student Trial Advocacy Competition and was a finalist in the 2009 Ira S. Flory Student Trial Advocacy Competition. He was appointed to the Chancellor's List on two occasions. Robert is admitted to practice in all state courts in Louisiana, the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Mr. Denny's primary areas of practice include insurance defense, maritime personal injury and property litigation, premises liability, construction defects and transportation defense. Mr. Denny was listed as a Rising Star in the 2016 edition of Louisiana Super Lawyers.
